Typically, a dog whistle emits frequencies between 16,000 Hz and 40,000 Hz, with only frequencies below 20,000 Hz audible to the human ear. To Train:
Introduce the sound to your dog while commanding them with a high-pitched sound. Repeat this process until your dog associates the sound with the desired command. How does it work?
Dogs have the ability to hear sounds at much higher frequencies than humans. A dog whistle emits a high-frequency tone that falls outside the range typically encountered by dogs. The result is an immediate capture of their attention. Dog whistles are commonly used as part of a training regimen designed for tricks or behavior modification. Pure tones are easier for dogs to discern compared to verbal commands, and different patterns can trigger different responses. For instance, two short bursts may mean "stop," while one long burst may mean "lie down." Dog whistles have been effective training tools across all dog breeds.

How do you tune your dog whistle?
One method is to adjust the tone's frequency while observing your dog's ears for any response during sleep. When their ears perk up, you have found a frequency your dog is sensitive to.

Important Notes:
Please be aware that dogs may not have an instinctive response to high-frequency tones like those produced by this application. Therefore, you must train your dog to respond to the tones similar to how you would train them to respond to verbal commands. Through consistent training, many dogs will develop a conditioned response upon hearing these tones. However, if your dog is not trained to respond, they may not react to the tones. It is vital to consider the possibility that dog training may require patience and persistence. Eventually, with relentless effort and consistent commands, you will attain successful results.
